I moved to Germany in 1997 as a football mad nine-year-old. With no access to Premier League coverage back then, I dove head first into all things Bundesliga and have been hooked ever since.

From a personal perspective, German football's fan culture and core values align with mine as a supporter. Clubs are rich in history, tradition and stories, and since 2009 I've had the privilege of turning passion into profession to tell those stories to a global audience - something nine-year-old me would have struggled to believe.

I have commentated over 1,000 live football matches to worldwide audiences on multiple World Feed services, primarily covering the Bundesliga & DFB Pokal.

With over 15 years of experience across TV, radio, print, online & multimedia platforms, I have a wealth of knowledge in content production and distribution in English and German.

I am available for freelance opportunities, and have my own home studio.

Project Fußball

I launched Deutsche Welle's flagship sports podcast, Project Fussball. It was a bi-annual podcast consisting of five-part series covering one overarching theme from the 50+1 rule to how German football culture has changed over the years.

Talking Fußball

TalkingFussball was an early passion project in my career, that I created with a wonderful group of fellow journalists. I hosted, produced and edited a weekly podcast that covered all things Bundesliga and the German national team.
