UEFA: Borussia Dortmund

It took me far too long to make my first trip to the Westfalenstadion, but what more fitting way than on my birthday against a Liverpool side with Jürgen Klopp at the helm.

Since then I've been fortunate enough to make regular trips to where those that bleed Black and Yellow worship a side that have an almost religious status in the region. Covering their European journey started during COVID-19 when the 81,000 stadium was empty, but when the fans returned, they put the magic back into their place of worship. Having the chance to interview and up-and-coming star in Jude Bellingham was a real highlight.
