Freiburg are one of my favourites clubs so when they qualified for the Europa League knockout stages for the first time in the club's history, I was eager to tell their story to an international audience.
Fortunately, I got the chance when UEFA asked me to cover their Europa League Round of 16 second leg against Juventus. While it ended in a 2-0 aggregate defeat, it was an unforgettable night.
